West Dean College of Arts and Conservation will be holding a series of courses devoted to The Preservation and collection care for libraries. For the 5th year, the college is collaborating with the British Library, the national library of the United Kingdom and the second largest library in the world.

These fascinating courses are for professionals, conservation students and those interested in continuing professional development in this area offering access to relevant training and expertise. The one-day or half-day courses run once a month from February until September at the British Library in London and include anything from dealing with dust & dirt and preserving historic photographs to disaster response and salvage. A new course for this year includes 'Writing and using a preservation policy'.

West Dean College of Arts and Conservation is internationally respected for conservation, education, including MA Conservation Studies. The excellent reputation of these courses extends beyond the UK, with participants from Europe and as far afield as California and Argentina.
